The Jenni A. Coelho Memorial Scholarship Fund
INSPIRATION
ENCOURAGEMENT
Jenni Coelho was the beloved sister of Michael Coelho, Ipswich’s Director of Fine Arts, and the person who first inspired his lifelong journey in music. Her influence helped shape a path that led him to educate and uplift generations of students across the greater Ipswich community. While Michael was fortunate to receive private lessons as a young musician thanks to the generosity of a donor, Jenni (an extraordinarily gifted musician herself) never had that same chance. Despite her talent and passion, the family simply could not afford private instruction.
Jenni was witty, vibrant, and full of life. Her humor and warmth lit up every room she entered, and her viola playing would have flourished with the kind of guidance this scholarship now makes possible.
It is our sincere hope that this award not only supports technical growth for a deserving student, but also serves as a source of encouragement and inspiration to pursue music to its fullest potential.
