From Ipswich Fields to a Future in Sports

Teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and leadership are among the many skills students develop through sports, and these skills stay with them long after the season ends. For Elin Roberts, a former Ipswich High School softball and soccer player and team captain, athletics became more than an after-school activity. They inspired her to think about her future in a new way.

As a recipient of the Ipswich Education Foundation Athletics Scholarship, Elin felt supported not just as an athlete but as a student with a dream. Today, Elin is studying at the College of Charleston, working towards a career in sports management. She’s taking the lessons learned in Ipswich from her teammates, her coaches, and the support of our community, and using them to build a career in the world of athletics.

Your generosity provides student-athletes like Elin with encouragement and opportunities to help them grow. DONATE TODAY
